Sec. 61j-2. Compensation and appointment of employees by Senate
Majority and Minority Whips
Effective April 1, 1977, the Majority Whip and the Minority Whip are
each authorized to appoint and fix the compensation of such employees as
they deem appropriate: Provided, That the gross compensation paid to
such employees shall not exceed $111,100 each fiscal year for each Whip.
