SUBCHAPTER I--GENERAL PROVISIONS
Sec. 1430. Retroactive effect
This Act shall not be effective with respect to price support
operations for any agricultural commodity for any marketing year or
season commencing prior to January 1, 1950, except to the extent that
the Secretary of Agriculture shall, without reducing price support
theretofore undertaken or announced, elect to apply the provisions of
this Act.
