Sirs/Mesdames:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated 22 August 2007:
A.M. No. MTJ-02-1463: NOEMI V. PROTACIO V. JUDGE ROLANDO B. DE GUZMAN, Presiding Judge, Metropolitan Trial Court, Manila, Branch 2
In A.M. No. MTJ-02-1463, the Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendation of the Office of the Court Administrator in the attached Report dated 4 October 2002 (Annex "A," OCA IPI No. 01-1038-MTJ Re: Noemi V. Protacio vs. Judge Rolando B. De Guzman). Accordingly, the Court imposes upon respondent Judge Rolando B. De Guzman of the Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 2, Manila a FINE in the amount of P10,000, with a warning that a repetition of the same or similar offense shall be dealt with more severely.
