Title 5 - Administrative Personnel
(a) In accordance with implementing issuances authorized officials may make other payments to— (1) Recognize organizational or team achievement; (2) Reward extraordinary individual performance through an extraordinary pay increase (EPI), as described in paragraph (b) of this section; and (3) Provide for other special circumstances. (b) An EPI is paid in addition to performance payouts under §9901.342 and will usually be made effective at the time of those payouts. The future performance and contribution level exhibited by the employee will be expected to continue at an extraordinarily high level.
