Title 14 - Aeronautics and Space
(a) An applicant is responsible for the continuing accuracy and completeness of information furnished to the FAA as part of a pending license application. If at any time information provided by an applicant as part of a license application is no longer accurate and complete in all material respects, the applicant shall submit a statement furnishing the new or corrected information. As part of its submission, the applicant shall recertify the accuracy and completeness of the application in accordance with section 413.7. An applicant's failure to comply with any of the requirements set forth in this paragraph is a sufficient basis for denial of a license application. (b) An applicant may amend or supplement a license application at any time prior to issuance or transfer of a license. (c) Willful false statements made in any application or document relating to an application or license are punishable by fine and imprisonment under section 1001 of Title 18, United States Code, and by administrative sanctions in accordance with part 405 of this chapter.
