Title 32 - National Defense
(a) Suspending official means an agency official who is authorized to impose suspension. The suspending official is either: (1) The agency head; or (2) An official designated by the agency head. (b) DOD Components' suspending officials for nonprocurement transactions are the same officials identified in 48 CFR part, subpart 209.4 as suspending officials for procurement contracts.
