Title 32 - National Defense
(a) The Director and Deputy Director(s) of the DeCA shall be appointed by the Secretary of Defense. (b) The DeCA shall be authorized such personnel, facilities, funds, and other administrative support as the Secretary of Defense deems necessary. (c) The Military Departments shall assign military personnel to the DeCA in accordance with approved authorizations and procedures for assignment to joint duty. (d) Programming, budgeting, funding, procuring, auditing, accounting, pricing, and reporting activities of the DeCA shall be in accordance with established DoD policies and procedures. (e) Appropriated funds shall be used to finance the operating costs of the DeCA with the exception of operating costs authorized for payment from trust revolving funds. A stock fund will be used to finance all inventories procured for resale.
