Title 32 - National Defense
(a) Commanding officers or other persons in authority shall not deliver any person in the naval service to civil authorities except as provided by the Manual of the Judge Advocate General. (b) Commanding officers are authorized to permit the service of subpoenas or other process as provided by the Manual of the Judge Advocate General.
