In planning for and designing facilities, a grantee shall observe: (a) The standards under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (Pub. L. 91–576) (See 36 CFR part 1910); and (b) State and local codes, to the extent that they are more stringent. (Authority: 20 U.S.C. 1221e–3 and 3474)
