Title 41 - Public Contracts and Property Management
Motor vehicles assigned for the use of the President and the heads of executive departments specified in 5 U.S.C. 101 are exempt from the requirement to display motor vehicle identification. All motor vehicles, other than those assigned for the personal use of the President, will display official U.S. Government license plates. Note to §102–34.200: The Executive departments are: The Department of State, the Department of the Treasury, the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice, the Department of the Interior, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Labor, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Energy, the Department of Education, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
