Title 46 - Shipping
(a) Firetube boilers and parts thereof shall be as indicated in PFT–1 through PFT–49 of the ASME Code except as noted otherwise in this subpart. When a discharge pipe is used, it must be installed in accordance with the requirements of §52.01–105. [CGD 81–79, 50 FR 9434, Mar. 8, 1985] (a) The method of supporting firetube boilers shall be as indicated in PFT–46 of the ASME Code except as noted otherwise in this section. (b) The foundations shall meet the requirements of §52.01–130.
