PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES v. JEFFREY ORTILE Y REBUA

Please take notice that the Court, Third Division, issued a Resolution dated 18 January 2012, which reads as follows:
G.R. No. 199244 (People of the Philippines v. Jeffrey Ortile y Rebua).
RESOLUTION
The Court resolves, after review of the records, to DENY the petition for: cralaw
- failure to show that the Court of Appeals (CA) committed a reversible error in allowing respondent-accused Jeffrey Ortile to post bail pending appeal;
- failure to file within the reglementary period. The Motion for Extension of Time to File Petition for Review was inadvertently filed before the CA;
- failure to attach clearly legible duplicate original or certified true copies of the assailed resolutions. Only photocopies of certified true copies are attached; and
- lack of proper verification, being based on personal knowledge, belief, and authentic records.
