(a) Product. Gum guaiac. (b) Tolerance. 0.1 percent (equivalent antioxidant activity 0.01 percent). (c) Limitations, restrictions, or explanation. This substance is generally recognized as safe when used in edible fats or oils in accordance with good manufacturing or feeding practice.
